Rhett Zeigler, J.D., serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Trust Officer for Magnolia Trust Company. In this role he oversees the Company’s fiduciary operations and works closely with high net worth families and their advisors to deliver trust and estate administration services. A non-practicing attorney with over 20 years of experience in legal and fiduciary services, he enjoys developing strong multi-generational family relationships and being a trusted advisor to client families.

Rhett received both his B.B.A. degree in accounting and his M.Acc. (Taxation) from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and his Juris Doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and the Estate Planning Council of Chattanooga.

Prior to joining Magnolia Trust Company, Rhett was a Senior Vice President with GenSpring | SunTrust Private Wealth, where he provided fiduciary and planning expertise to high-net-worth families and individuals to meet their family office and wealth management needs. Before joining SunTrust, Rhett practiced law in his hometown of Savannah, Georgia, focusing on estate planning, wills, trusts and estate administration.
